Sebring 2019

Porsche wins GTE Pro and GTE Am for the FIA WEC 8 Hour race at Sebring!

IMSA 12 Hour race tomorrow - Car 911 on the pole.

What CXX options did they have? Is the the 911 PTS? How much will they be worth after the race? Tonight's cars are prob worthless. They saw sun, moonlight and almost 1000 miles!

Great!

Do I read the results right: They won in Pro with less of a second to the second place?

👍

Dave, please clarify. Only saw part of the race. Which cars are FIA and drivers in GTE Pro vs. IMSA? Are they the same spec?

Who won FIA last year?

Actually there is a race car speculative market too. Of it wins it will increase in value. 'Options' are actually taken into account, even the livery. The originality of the setup (with the winning setup) is VERY important too at the date of sale.
Market is smaller but there is a speculative investment market for race cars too. Hell, if that press 997 gt3 rs that was on the 24h of Nurburgring is ever sold, it will be the most expensive 997, especially if it comes with the bugs and scars of war still on.
I would be you on a 50/50 chance of someone wrapping the car to protect the bugs and scratches.

Same RSR

Bruni and Lietz in 91
Christensen and Estre in 92

No FIA race in USA since 2017

nick is the guy for the final stint; if he can’t win it can’t be done in a 911 RSR

R.Deacon 03-16-2019 11:10 PM

can nick run for the checker now with 32 min left without pit for fuel ?

phefner 03-16-2019 11:17 PM

#911 Tandy ahead of #67 Ford Briscoe. Less than 30 minutes and +3sec ahead but Briscoe closing.
