CXX stripe fail
wrong color and wrong style stripe. Kind of a downer after spending all this $$$ to get a high at pick up and not get it 😂. Yes porsche corporate is issuing a credit and i will move forward with my own stripe. Either original as per rendering or something towards the rs 4.0 style. Car is currently getting a small stereo upgrade then off to have a full akrapovic race exhaust bbs mag wheels cage belts and clear bra installed. Are the hood and roof stripes decals or painted? How much did they originally charge for them, if you don't mind sharing?

^ They're evidently vinyl on top of carbon. A far cry from the painted piece that adorns the 2RS Weissachs.
That said I don't think it came out all that badly. An improvement over NS2's designs to my eyes. |

they are vinyl. Was willing to pay more for factory. They did me a favor by messing this up and giving me my $$$ back. I believe it was $2k ish. Approximately double/triple what a reputable installer would charge locally. |
What is the blue on the wiper blades in pic #2? That does not appear to match either. Very nice GT3RS. Enjoy.

protective vinyl/ and or wiper blanks... Was removed. 😂. When i seen that from original text my SA... I thought the car/stripe and even wiper blades all different blues |

Sorry for my ignorance, after looking at the photos on a computer instead of a tiny phone, I quickly realized they are obviously vinyl, and the colour doesn't quite match Miami Blue either.
I guess if Porsche can't match the vinyl colour, then no one else can either? |
I already have a miami blue replacement on the way and 1 more option as well. Will loose lay on car and choose after i see them in person. To answer yes there is a 99%+ match on vinyl |
Great design BTW. I was thinking about how awkward the body-coloured shark fin looks on WP roofs. Of course the configurator doesn't show the shark fin at all so I wonder how many lucky owners are shocked by this at delivery!
