Default HRE Performance Wheels | ▄▀▄▀ Introducing the P1SC Series - New for 2019!! ▀▄▀▄

HRE WHEELS UNVEILS NEW SERIES P1SC

HRE Performance Wheels launches the new Series P1SC with a variety of forged Monoblok
styles with custom fitments for everything from the 2019 Ford GT to the Lamborghini Urus.

Vista, Calif. (March, 2019) – HRE Wheels has added a new line of Monoblok performance wheels to its
catalog known as the Series P1SC.

Designed around HRE conical forgings for a more aggressive look and fitment, the Series P1SC wheels
feature four different styles including a mesh wheel (P101SC), V-spoke (P104SC), split five-spoke
(P107SC) and Y-spoke phone dial (P111SC). The Series P1SC wheels will be available in 19”-23”
diameters, with the 21”-23”diameters also load rated for SUVs.

“The Series P1SC is the latest evolution of our best-selling Series P1,” said HRE President/CEO Alan
Peltier. “The original Series P1 is iconic for HRE. They are lightweight and elegant in their design and
have proven themselves to be the perfect street performance wheels. The new P1SC had to be better in
every way; more purposeful, lighter, stiffer, and much more aggressive in their design language to more
readily complement today’s latest exotic cars.”

With efficient I-Beam structures on all spoke sides and lightweight lug pockets, the P1SC has increased
stiffness and reduced mass. Particular attention was given to spoke details, including intersection points
and the outer lip surface. These areas further reduce mass but also increase visual interest to create the
latest in HRE Forged wheel design. P1SC is specifically designed to improve aesthetics and driving
dynamics on the latest exotic cars, coupes, sedans and SUVs.

All HRE wheels, including the Series P1SC, are engineered to maximize stiffness and minimize unsprung
mass and rotational inertia for optimal acceleration, handling, and braking performance. Each wheel is
build-to-order and there are nearly infinite fitment, color and finish options available for the ultimate
custom-tailored wheel buying experience.

I have touched on that question before in regards to our R101 Lightweight compared to the Magnesium wheels because of course if we're going to go to battle against BBS' lightest wheel, it's only fair that we compare our lightest offering as well which would be the R101 Lightweight. The P1SC's are not as light as our R101 Lightweights which will still remain the lightest wheel we produce since it's vehicle and load specific to the vehicle we engineer it for.

I had an email a few weeks ago from a someone who said he wanted to buy BBS Mag Wheels, but he hated all three colors they're offered in and wanted a machined look to his wheel, which we certainly offer. R101 Lightweights for his 991 GT3 are only 3.1lbs heavier in TOTAL, not per wheel in TOTAL, compared to the BBS MAG wheels, so I don't think he's going to spend the extra $9,700 or whatever it worked out to be to get the BBS wheels. We're here as an option to consider, not everybody thinks the exact same way with their Porsche, many people want many colors!

So technically the Mag wheels are lighter by 0.775lbs/per wheel, but is that really worth the nearly $10,000 additional that you would spend to get a lower weight than our HRE R101LW's that we offer in 70+ Finishes compared to BBS' 3? I love BBS just as much as the next guy here does, but I'm not sure I would spend the price of a used Toyota Corolla just to save 3lbs more on a set of wheels.

My original post about the MAG wheels Versus R101 LW's is here just in case you want a more in depth analysis of the numbers - https://rennlist.com/forums/showpost...&postcount=129

May I ask if you are planning to make P107SC centerlocks version for GT2/3RS? If you do, is the weight of P107SC similar to BBS FIR? Thank you!
