Concerned about sunlight?
I know I'll get a few of the "it's just a car", "get out and drive" etc. responses but serious question for the more OCD folks on the board:
I have a garage that lets in some outdoor light from windows and a patio door. It's not direct, there's an overhang and fence but a fair amount of ambient light still gets in. I recently added some cheap shades to the window but they more or less just diffuse the light (filter, doesn't block like a blackout shade).
There's an easy solution: just get a car cover but honestly I'm not the biggest fan of car covers. Would anyone be concerned with the amount of light coming through, either from a paint perspective or from prematurely aging the ppf? Or am I just being overdramatic and should leave it alone.
Pic is low quality from my security camera but it gets the point across:

Diffused sunlight should not cause any issues. It's really the prolonged exposure to direct sunlight that affects interiors (particularly older dashboards). You could also apply window tint to the windshield to get the benefit of UV blocking if you're really worried about. Or you could just get some black out shades.

The glass in the windows and doors filters the damaging UV light - no problem. This is why you cannot get a tan inside your house or car with the windows closed...

Privacy film is great. I had it place on the windows around my office building. It provides mild tint, and looks like a mirror from the outside. Saves a little bit on cooling bill, too.

You can buy something like this to put over the windows to block the sun out. They sell various width rolls - easy to cut and install and non permanent

Yes, I'm very worried about sunburn from the copious hours I stand in front of my window and patio door. Hopefully I'll find a solution that solves both.

Newer windows filter 99% of damaging UVA and UVB. You don’t need tint either. Buy some new glass that filters UV, and you are done.
In modern cars, 99% of UVB and UVA is filtered out without any tint, including the windshield. Tint helps with heat, that’s all
