My RS WP arrived today with Mag wheels and exposed hood but no carbon steering wheel. Nobody noticed until I pointed it out. I also told them it was missing the titanium rollcage but that didn’t work

So I’m buying a used 2019 GT3RS and pretty sure from the pictures that it doesn’t have the CF steering wheel. I didn’t even realize it was supposed to? Should I say something to the dealer? Does it matter if it wasn’t originally purchased from that dealer new?

Pretty sure not a single person has gotten their CF steering wheel yet.

I have two WP cars and no CF steering wheels. (Still waiting for my CF hood, too.)

The Weissach Edition Carbon Fiber steering wheel parts are now available. They will be sent to the dealers in order of build date.

Nice! I shall have to inquire after the 4th of July break.

I just bought a used 2019 this morning. Does it matter if it’s used, or should that dealer still be able to get them for me?

Marcus,
To confirm, PAG doesn’t send a replacement wheel, just CF parts to be exchanged on your wheel?
Any one know the difficulty in a part exchange?
Appreciate the info!

Well, my dealer says they haven’t heard a thing about these parts still.

My dealer says they have no knowledge of the exchange/recall. Called PCNA and they said parts are coming and will be exchanged. Sounds like it's just gonna take time.

Can it be installed with the wheel in place , without taking it off the car ?

If it is similar to the DB Carbon-CF part it can be installed with wheel in place but air bag must be removed(including disconnecting battery).

BUT- My Guy recommended taking the wheel off for perfect fitment

****Revision - I forgot for PDK with CF Paddles probably wheel will have to come off
