That’s exactly what I use my 50th for, a great daily driver. When I want to play out comes the GT3...

Keep it... add the GT3 touring.

I really love the 911 50th. Suppose my main worry about having one would be concern over putting miles on it since it’s a limited production numbered collectible. I suppose that’s always the rub... what makes it special and desiresble is what also makes one relunctant to truly DD it.

Watching the prices on them, seems it’s held it’s value better than any other reasonably available 991 series 911. In January 2016, I could have bought a very nice example I test drove for $125K ($135K ask, but that was what they agreed to sell it for that day; instead I bought my first GT3...). Today similar ones are asking same price though probably selling for $10K less.

The 991.1 GT3 I bought that day cost me $146K. Traded it in less than 2 years later for $112K.

I was excited for the 50th when it came out; then I saw it in person and my interest fizzled. But I'd much prefer it over a GT3 as a touring or travel car, or as a daily driver.

Really? Last of the naturally aspirated 911s and it’s one of the best looking as well.

A friend has a black 7 speed manual. The more you look at it ,the better it looks, I think it will age very well.
