Center Lock removal w/ this....
Has anyone tried using an impact wrench to remove CL wheels? This 1/2" Milwaukee impact wrench has 750 ft-lb of torque, plenty to undo CL's. And it's got special modes that you set via w/ an app on your phone for lug nuts. Add a 1/2" to 3/4" adapter, then removing the CL's would be, in theory would be much easier. No?

I know but this is different, and I mentioned to remove CL, didn't say use it to tighten. And the 4 buttons can set how tight you want the gun to be.
BTW, this model is a 3/4" so you won't even need an adapter. Check it out in detail before saying no.

Also, the shape of the wrench does not look suitable for applying that much torque without injuring your wrist (if that is the only thing applying the opposite torque) - I think you'd want a much longer handle or some way to steady the handle.

Sorry, you can plainly hear the thing hammering (5:27 for example) - this is what destroys the CL nut on the street cars (maybe good for Cup Car...)

I've got the Makita LXT version of that tool (which it appears has even higher max torque ratings) and it couldn't even break loose the nuts on my Jeep control arms that are torqued to 125 ft pounds and that was after I figured out how to hold on to it. Make sure you can return it.

The key word is 'IMPACT'. I wouldn't use it if they gave it to me.👍

Aluminum and impact do not mix too well. Microscopic cracks may form and grow over time in nuts and even in hubs. It's not just centerlock issue - impact wrenches should be avoided or used very gently with any aluminum components.
