thanks for the link
CPO car didn’t ask the dealer when acquired and not listed along with other service records so unsure if replaced.
Will be sold/traded prior to CPO warranty expiration. Car has been a great experience and I’m sure will continue to be just trying to learn what I have.

After you locate the sticker on the right side of the engine lid, be sure to see if it matches the letter in the VIN. For example, if the VIN has an "F" in it and the sticker is a "G" the engine has been replaced.

Looks like Original engine. Roughly 2014's were E's and 2015's were F's and 2016's were G's. You would have a 10 year warranty on the engine. I think the E's were more prone to failure than the F's.

The documentation that goes with the engine swap specifies a new engine serial number; I don't know if they re-label the car anywhere. I'll try to check later today.

The service manager at any Porsche dealership is capable of looking up the history to see if/when it was changed. There is a letter that should be part of the vehicle documentation as well, if it was kept by previous owners.

I think they need to add sticker somewhere with the new engine code.
but I'm just thinking Interesting to know if it's different, as anytime I tried to buy car with engine swap, anyone told me about the new engine code.

You have a great warranty, not much of problem unless it goes south on the first weekend of track season. Ugh!
