Some say it will be a 3.8 liter engine but my janitor have informed me it will be a 4.0 liter engine, although it will be detuned and certainly below 500BHP.
Just as the GT3 comes out first, then followed by the GT3RS. But someone mentioned 718. Maybe I went off topic as I'm talking about the not so revealed GT4RS.

Thanks for all the replies. I'm enjoying my 15 GTS cab so there is no rush to get into a GT3. I will keep looking and may scoop one up before Monterey car week in August, if it's the right spec and price. I can see prices dipping below MSRP in and around April 15th. No way I'm paying over msrp with the number of GT3s listed for sale.

My comment was based on post#29 talking about 718. Putting the GT3 engine on the 718 will for sure kill base 911 sales.
Everyone will agree the perfect place for the engine is midpoint. Let's not forget how dominating and successful the recent RSR was in racing, placing the engine in front of the rear axle.
Even then, I would still continue to buy 911 as it is a fun car with the engine hanging between the rear axle and bumper.

I cannot remember how many millimeters they moved the engine forward on the new 992. For those who have driven the new 992, they know the improvement of its drivability and handling.

Me personally it was really about timing for me. At the time I had a 1996 Jeep Cherokee. Very few options. So I went bought a GTS( I had two 2018 GTS’s bc im nuts and traded one in for another one w better options) Kept my Jeep for a daily. Obv the GTS had heated seats , sat radio , etc... kept it for awhile but was missing the raw power that my GT4 had. So eventually I got rid of the 96 Jeep( actually **** the bed) and got a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee w all the nice options. So at this point I said see ya GTS and hello to a GT3. Best move I made. If I never got the new Jeep I would have stayed w the GTS. Dont get me wrong GTS’s are awesome cars. Just missed the raw race feel from the GT4 I had. I did pay ADM and it did sting a lot lol. But I searched for 4 months for a spec I wanted and low and behold it was the dealer down the street from me. Was it a Sign? Idk but bit the bullet and just went for it. I still look online @ the for sale GT3’s and still havnt crossed any w the exact spec I wanted.(But have now) So im glad I didnt hesitate and just went for it. Only live once. Gotta pay to play. Heres pics in order 16 GT4 18 GTS( Silver) then 18 GTS ( White) then 18 GT3. ^^^

Ha. That’s a lot of cars in a short time frame. My problem would be I would not sell any of them. Even the 96 Jeep I would be down at the pick-n-pull getting whatever I needed to fix it.

Just 4 months ago people were paying 50-75k for 2RS', 7 months ago they were paying 150k...now they are 20-35k...non limited (in number or production time) models fall as non limited models do.
