Yup but detuned 4.0 engine. Not 500BHP, as it will kill the 911.

Drive safe,

Yea its so unfortunate, I was able to put a sizable downpayment on a 150K spec'd new GT3 but couldn't handle the 20K+ ADM.

I ended up with a nicely spec'd C4S instead.

I always laugh when people inquire about buying a 911 on the bimmerpost forums and everyone says they would only want a GT car, the others are too pedestrian.

My bad. I meant a 3.8. Something below the GT4 but above the GTS.

Anyway, what I meant is that Porsche will fill all the pent up demand for N/A before going EV. There will be so many variations of the N/A that the reason for flippers trying to flip the GT3 touring won't exist

I’m content riding my bike. A car is a way to have fun going to have fun. Or racing around a track.

its funny because i get the sense that the performance of non GT porsches have improved while the equivalent bmws have gone the exact opposite direction. my last car before my 15 GTS was the mighty e92 m3. loved it loved loved it. but i wouldnt have dreamed of a regular e9x. same goes for this new crop.

Same here, the E9x M3 was a beast. Couldn't take the tiny gas tank though, got tired of filling up every few days. I think it's laughable that that crowd thinks a GT3 is an entry level 911 because the others are all too soft.

E9X M3s are really nice, the F80s are crap.

I recommend trying both before you make up your mind, if you can.
may Ed I’m not typical, but this is the nicest manual transmission I have ever owned! It’s light on the clutch, but I love that

I can see someone not liking a GT3 because it’s a manual, I can’t see anyone not liking the manual in the GT3.

There are 3073 991.2 GT3 in US and Canada. So ~6% for sale. Not a ton, but if you make offers you will get one. For example, Frenso has a PTS wing manual at sticker with PPF and 1400 miles. It was for sale at over for months. That it is polar Silver probably is not helping. Great color but it’s silver and there are two $700 silver colors in the normal pallet.

I am glad the flippers are not making much money, but turbo depreciation it is not.

I might splurge for a used GT3 one day.
More than content with my '15 GTS. Last year I picked up a used E92 M3 and DD-ing an E90 328xi going on 9 years, NA in-line 6 with a hydraulic steering rack that puts the 911 to shame!
I'm glad the flippers get a flip! I hope they lose money...these cars are meant to be driven.

And they wouldn't sell me a GT3.
Porsche sold more .2 GT3.s than .2 GTS's.
