This is my favorite bang for the buck modification for the GT3 platform.

Here are some photos of the side mufflers compared to our non valved bypass pipes on our shipping scale

That said, we have also just added our Modular Competition Exhaust Package, netting 46lbs-49lbs weight savings over factory depending again on whether or not you maintain valves in the side muffler bypass pipes. This system starts at $1940 and will be released on Rennlist this week in it's own dedicated thread.

Quesiton please. This looks like the your rear bypass paired with your valved side bypass. If valved, where do the fumes go? Isn’t this essentially straight piped?

You are correct, though in deleting both the side and center mufflers at the same time (and their corresponding factory mounting) we had to make bespoke exhaust support mounts to make this a viable option. By fumes do you mean exhaust flow? If so, closed routes through a smaller diameter tube before entering the center muffler. Valves open follows the primary flow path through the larger diameter piping. You can term this as straight pipes, though because both closed and open flow paths go through an expansion chamber in our center muffler bypass it has quite a reasonable cabin presence at cruising speed compared to any other "straight pipe" setup I've heard to date.

Here is a video so you can hear the difference in valves open and closed condition. It is more notable on the exterior of the car than the interior.

There are a couple ones out there that reuse the OEM tips, sharkwerks notably. That said, there are none within your budget brand new, you'll have to find one on the used market and it is rare they drop in price to the mark you're looking for. However, make sure you pay attention when you buy a used one as there are different fitments for different generations on GT3s if I recall. If you change your mind and wouldn't mind replacing your OEM tips, I have six standard tip options for our center muffler bypass pipe and it is in your price point in new condition. If you want to do custom tips I can accommodate that as well.

dude, you’re a mile off topic as that is the exact opposite of my question. Go start your own thread.

Akra Sports Cup is the best solution but they don’t seem to be making them for 991.2 GT3/RS.

While it is true that the Akrapovic Sport Cup exhaust that was offered for the 991.1 GT3/RS is discontinued we can still special order it thanks in part to us being Akra's largest dealer in North America. That part fits the 991.2 GT3/RS without modifications.

We can also make our own "Sport Cup" exhaust for the 991.2 GT3/RS using the correct Akra components. It would be basically the same as the 991.1 version but without the official name.
