This is just a facelift of the 488. It’s not a new design. First time in a while they deviated from their regular production cycle. It was 348/355 then 360/430 then 458/488 but 3 years into the 488 they do this refresh for some reason.
its odd and while I think it looks nice, I’m confused on their strategy.

Just my feeling. 488 feels like a pretty new car and already they are already replacing it.

488 owners on Fchat were already complaining about the steep depreciation of their cars....and then this. They will really get hammered on values now. One thing about Ferrari though, they don't skimp on power increases from one upgrade to the next. 50-100hp more is a lot better than drizzling out 10-15 more hp like some automakers.

The Interior is spectacular, Ferrari has kept the open center console to make you feel like you are sitting in a sports car. I much prefer Porsches but can’t really get over the panamera/cayenne cabin in the newer GT cars.

Just have put my money elsewhere for now. Maybe in the future.
Oh I get that but if thats the case, why not pump out more Pistas which are going for over 400k vs the F8 which from what Ive heard is a 3-5% increase over the 488. Lots more profit in the Pistas.
I dont understand this comment. You had the 12/650 - essentially the same car go from 2010 to 2016. 6 year product run. 720 was launched as a 2018 model will likely go till 2023 or so. Then you have the new sports series the 570 come out from 2014 I believe to 2020- 6 year run. Now you have coupe and spider versions but its been a pretty stable product cycle.
