They are following Porsches model theory. No changes in 40 years. Just make the *** bigger.

Those models are made in Sant'agata

Exactly like that! I don't want an elegant sports car, I want a sporty sports car like this.

I like it.

Especially if it means it'll be easier to get a nice Pista.

i like it too but I don’t think this makes the Pista easier to get. Probably more difficult. Depending on what they do with Pista production, likely they curb it to focus on the F8- Pista might well be an Uber rare car.

i think more people will want that than this which is essentially a stop gap till the replacement comes.

im curious to drive it though and see what the extra 50 hp does.

This is Ferrari's answer to getting their butts kicked by the 720s. Weird to me since they should be coming out with the new replacement in the next year. How hard would this be to get Sam?

honeslty - don’t know. 488 became easier recently. Not sure how much demand this will do. Would you spend 350k+ knowing the replacement is going to be shown in a year?

Id likely find something else to get but who knows. The looks good to me but demand is an unknown. I’ll tell you that I have no interest in trading up to this from my 488. Zero none.

lets see how things play out.

Love this car...but jeez Ferrari needs Pininfarina back...traditionally we had huge leaps in design / performance every two iterations ie from 355 to 360 and from 430 to 458. Last three iterations are too similar in terms of design...or so it appears...

This is just a facelift of the 488. It’s not a new design. First time in a while they deviated from their regular production cycle. It was 348/355 then 360/430 then 458/488 but 3 years into the 488 they do this refresh for some reason.

its odd and while I think it looks nice, I’m confused on their strategy.
