New Ferrari F8 Tributo vs GT2 RS

It looks great, but I'm a little bummed it's just a refresh and not a redesign. I feel like I've already seen this.
The 458/488/F8 are beautiful cars, but I wish they would be a little more aggressive and sporty and less elegant.

I think they did a great job in making guys that owned a 458 to maybe make the switch.....the 488 wasn't enough for me with styling AND a turbo where this is.....I would trade my RS for this in a couple years time....

It looks like a Ferrari and it will sound like a Ferrari... but they are really going for McLaren's playbook.

Did a little dance this AM as I was curious about the FL, much prefer the 488 design to the F8 personally but the F8 will compete better with the 720S and maybe an olive branch for those who couldn't get a Pista
The F8 Tributo looks like a 488 mashup with an 812 (interior and taillights)/Portofino (headlights) with Lotus Evora/19 NSX/Huracan Evo elements to me, but just my 2 cents
Supposedly the last turbo pure ICE mid-engine V8 from Maranello before the full fledged replacement comes in a couple years with V6 turbo hybrid FWIW

Its definitely an interesting time where Ferrari is rushing new models to market but no carbon tub, heavier, not as powerful as their competitor. Interesting times for sure.

Man I knew there was a reason I love my 458 ...it will be timeless. This is the one car I said I will not sell.

I think if you were to put the F8 next to 488, you would not see much of a difference in real life. Certainly not enough of a difference for me to change y 488. It does have a huracanish looking front to it. As far as performance, its still heavier and less hp than a 720 which is now a 2 year old model. Performance wise my 488 isn't even close to my 720. This has 50 more hp but its still heavier.

dont see any reason for a 488 owner to upgrade but then again not many saw much sense in my move to get a 488 with the FL inbound. 458/488/F8 are all amazing cars in their own right in any case
