Default Carbon fiber floor mats

is this damage normal for only having 700 miles and only wearing sneakers?

Random question, but did you happen to have any sharp stones or anything logged in the sole of your sneakers? If so, you might have accidentally scraped the carbon fiber.

More like carbon fiber garbage.... dealership says that I’m out of luck since it a wear and tear item .... should I contact Porsche directly?

when I was doing my order . sa said those were **** and always wear like crazy. so this would appear to be a known call porsche and ask them for the money back. that's ridiculous.

Not unless you have time to waste.

Gorilla glue some sort of patch over the hole and treat it as a lesson.

I BOught the car off the showroom floor .... I’m not crazy enough to spend 1000 on floor mats!

Just finished telling my wife that most cars after a couple of laps on track break down but not the Porsche...... hopefully the rest of the car doesn’t wear as fast as the floor mats!

Normal.

The carbon fiber floor mats need some flexibility, so no resin is applied (like the WP parts). The wear on that pic is normal, same thing would happen to carbon fiber socks, carbon fiber t-shirts, and even carbon fiber underwear.

There are better ways to save weight, like... no floor mats
