Don't forget the time change, everyone!

6:45am means it'll feel like 5:45am haha.

BTW, anyone going this Sunday have a bypass from BBi/GMG? I'd like to hear it in person before I buy it.

It looks like there's a mudslide on ACH so let's hope they'll clear that up by next Sunday

I had BBI's piece, it was good but... not enough. Had it on the car for about 100 miles before swapping to FVD single bypass which sounded ridiculously good but with lots of drone between 2-3K. So now I'm running Soul's valved side bypass along with .2 RS muffler and it's nothing short of amazing. It howls like a mother when the valves open up but nice and smooth below 4K. Get in touch with John Gaydos, he'll take care of you.

Meet at Shell, then drive to the end of Ortega and regroup at the Market, then come back for breakfast at the Lookout Roadhouse, then take pics at Vista Point and head back:

Sounds good.

If you are driving from San Diego, I believe a few of us are meeting at the Chevron 850 Palomar Airport Rd Carlsbad, CA 92008. If we want to get to the Shell at 7:30, we would need to meet by 6:45 am and Head out 7 am sharp. its a 35 mile drive. Ill have my radar lol

The Shell Gas Station off the 5 Freeway all the way down to Lake Elsinore (corner of Ortega Hwy and Grand Ave) then back up to the Roadhouse and then back to the 5 Freeway.

This may be the most posts I’ve ever seen for a short canyon drive.
Show up. Drive.

Btw. Ortega pretty much sucks unless mid day week or very early am. It’s fun until you get stuck behind a pious. And there is always a pious. Earlier the better. Return trip is always painful. Breakfast at the lookout is good.

At at least the good news is it’s pretty clear while many other canyons are a mess right now.
