Default Seat Belts.

Just bought a slightly used 2018 991.2 GT3 that was perfectly optioned with 1870 miles. PCCB, Buckets, axle lift and GT Silver. But .... Racing Yellow seat belts to match the calipers. Maybe vanity but anything else but yellow. Best price is Suncoast for new ones in Silver or Black at $850 for fronts. Dealer I bought it from and I have bought several, quoted $1000 labor. (4 hours at $250 hr). With the CF Bucket seats there is only one bolt on the outside so the difficulty must be pulling the trim panels to get to belts without setting off the A-pillar air bag? Otherwise its just a pain to get into the back area with buckets.

Love the yellow belts - no reason to spend money changing

Does anyone know why it is so difficult as other people say the dealers don't like doing it. Thank you.

That does seem high. You really have to pull the lower rear carpet panel and then the rear quarter trim panel. At that point you have access to the belts. I have seen a DIY on it in this forum. You might want to search for it.

FYI - I have a brand new set of silver belts I was planning to install my '16 RS but sold it before ever doing it. They are brand new from Suncoast.

If you do decide to go that route reach out to me as I will make a deal well below what Suncoast wants.

If you end up changing the belts, I would buy the yellow belts from you assuming they fit a 991.1 GT3
