White Porsche 991 GT2 RS Weissach BBi Roll Bar & Schroth Harness Install



We recently took delivery this White Porsche 911 GT2 RS to install our BBi StreetCup Harness Bar and Schroth Racing harnesses on both the driver and passenger sides to provide improved protection and proper restraint. The bar was powdercoated in Satin Black, and here are some pictures that we would like to share below. Stay tuned for updates!!!

The BBi Autosport Bar features a 2 piece design and high strength seamless tubing (1.75” x 0.095, 1.5” x 0.083) for excellent strength to weight ratio. With our sensible design approach, the 2 piece design mounts to frame structure, utilizing factory bolts, to provide strongest mounting points and maximum protection. For superior strength and rigidity, the bar utilizes “X” braces on both front and rear sections and each joint has been meticulously TIG welded by hand. Bolt-in installation is accomplished by using Inner Diameter Tube Clamps that are CNC turned and milled for a precise fit. These unique joints allow us to eliminate the more traditional slip fit tubes with an unsightly through-bolt and nut.

When equipped with optional Sport Bucket seats, this bracket is required to install 6-point race harnesses. This bracket bolts directly to the seat and keeps the harnesses at the proper 10-20° angle regardless of the seat position.

Porsche GT3 Cup Cars come with Schroth belts direct from the factory. If you need to replace them because of an accident, or if you're putting the factory GT3 seat setup into another car, you'll want these belts.They are specific because of the lap belt attachment. They have a sewn-in bracket that fits perfectly on the factory mount. The Porsche GT3 Profi 2x2 features Frontal Head Restraint (FHR) specific 2” shoulder belts, 2" sewn GT3 laps, and a adjustable T-bar sub strap. The FHR specific shoulder belts are designed to make FHR use safer and more comfortable. The full 2" shoulder webbing fits perfectly on a FHR device, creating optimal force distribution on the surface of the device.
