First time RS buyer -- another adm question

This is the best thing I've ever heard when it comes to analyzing whether or not one should pay ADM.

Thank you all for your invaluable comments and suggestions. The car is pretty much the spec I want except the gold wheels which is an easy solution. I have attached a picture of the car. PCCB, front lift system and bucket seats is all that matters.
After I made the post, there was a new development with the dealer. I was wanting to trade in my Shelby GT350R, just heard back from the dealer and they completely crapped on the trade in value so now I am skeptical of paying ADM. I also forgot to add that my dealer is sitting on 2 other 3RS. As per the conversation yesterday, they are not willing to budge on the $50k over ask for one of the Weissach 3RS(LOL).

I paid more than that, but got to spec it myself. I would have no problem paying the 15k since this is your first car with the dealer. Things will heat up again in the spring and these cars will sell. Good luck.

MSRP on all my RS's. Never would pay over sticker. IF the money matters to you, wait, the cars are on a downward trend.

When the 992.1 RS comes out, the 991.2 RS will get cheaper. If you can wait, you'll probably get it cheaper. However, the statement earlier still stands, if you can't handle loosing that car and your gut says buy it, buy it and don't worry about ADM (if you can afford it). If you are thinking about the money aspect of things and wouldn't mind letting the car go to someone else who is willing to pay ADM, don't buy it.

I paid $20k ADM for an allocation. I honestly can’t tell you what the change in my monthly payment is and My family is still eating and the lights are on. It’s a few % above an arbitrary MSRP number. Not a big deal. Get the car and enjoy.

I paid ADM on my RS
But I got to order it exactly how I wanted, $195k msrp....also I don't sell cars I accumulate so didn't care and only wanted black w platinum wheels
An example..a buddy just bought a mint $225k msrp .1 for 175 with almost no miles..that's 50k off msrp
A low spec .1 rs..say 185k is not selling for 135k
You don't recover options with resale...the older the car gets
So I don't mind a small adm to get rid of frilly stuff...or if the car is bloated with cow and thread...it's msrp for me
Funny point I bought my 997.2rs with 1k miles for $115k in 2010....it's a zero option car, from mooty...

Gorgeous car!!!! Buy it but as others have said - tell them you will buy today at MSRP. They will sell it to you by the end of this month.

How can you be so sure? There are multiple reports of dealers sitting on gt cars for months on end, why would this guy throw in the towel this month?

It is just money, right? If it is the perfect car for you, you don't think you can find another at a lower price, and the ADM won't impact you financially, go for it.
I paid double that ADM on a BASE GT3 (gasp!!) but you know what? I absolutely love the car, (as someone above said) the lights are still on, and things are fine. It only hurts once when you sign the paperwork and hand them the check. After that, it is miles of smiles.
Given what I've seen, $15K ADM on a new GT3 RS is pretty good. I don't listen to those who say "ADMs are gone" because they aren't.

Good lord - as you know, I am not SURE as I cannot control sales/general managers or predict the future. However, I am always willing to walk deals that don't meet my terms. ADM is a term I can't handle but begrudge no one that pays it. That is why it took me so long to acquire a new GT3 that I was NOT able to spec. So, name your deal by leaving an offer on the table now and see if it happens in the next couple of days. Maybe its a 50-50 proposition but moving the car by the end of the month is motivating in a declining ADM market. Dealers were able to sit because the ADMs were huge and it paid to wait; now, it does not.

I know you are joking, but I am not sure dealers will take credit card for full payment on a car. Unless they mark the car up even more to make up for the fee they have to pay the credit card company.
