The more i look at this, the more i like.

Such a subtle mod, but car looks much more aggressive and lower.

Love it

Very sharp looking mod - nicely done sir.

Some well placed 3M trim adhesive tape might be enough to pull that gap closed.

Great eye to spot the idea too

They are not. The 2RS intakes will not fit the 3RS as Porsche made sure to protect the exclusivity of the 2RS's carbon intakes. I imagine it's the same with the fender vents.

Looks fantastic! Did you have any of the fitment issues on your .1 RS that the OP had on his car? How difficult was it? Looks like a lot of clips that I'd be worried about breaking. Suppose I'll need to get over that and just do it. Have this planned as my next mod this summer.

0 fitment issues.

The first side took me nearly 2 hours (I'm not afraid to admit that I am completely useless when it comes to turning a wrench). Second side took 5 minutes.

Taking off my .1 side skirts, I snapped nearly every clip because I followed the method the person used in the Youtube video below (pulling the skirts down towards the ground). I quickly learned the more effective way to remove the side skirts, which will result in not breaking any clips, is to pull out the skirts towards you instead so the clips stay attached to the car (difficult to articulate, but you'll know what I mean after you watch the video/see the side skirts in person).

All in all, I highly recommend this modification as the .2 side skirts add a tremendous amount of visual interest for very little money.

I’m in Southern CA and those are single families in Irvine

Yep, 100% agree with this statement. The car just looks complete with these skirts. I've always felt like the front bumper looked too low compared to the side skirts. Even though these aren't much lower their wider appearance makes the car look lower from afar and they complete the line between where the front fender ends and rear fender begins.

I've been racking my brain on how to make these fit better and there's a solution that might fit the bill. I'll try it when I have time and if all goes well I'll be comfortable to put up a how-to guide.

.2 GT3 RS and 991 GT2 RS side skirts are the same stuff with different part numbers. I have .2 GT3 RS side skirts in the .2 GT3 RS, and 991 GT2 RS side skirts in my 991.1 Turbo S (got them from Suncoast, same parts as the OP). They look 100% identical. The parts fit any 991.1 or 991.2 GT3RS, Turbo, Turbo S and of course the 991.2 GT2 RS, all these cars are extra wide body. For wide body cars (GT3, C4S, Targa 4S, GTS4 maybe others), the OP made it sort of work.

Side intakes covers (a totally different thing) from the 991 GT2 RS don't fit the 991.2 GT3 RS. For unknown reasons the 991.2 GT3 RS (and my 991.1 Turbo S) are not compatible with Chinese side intake ornaments, but some aftermarket shops make better quality Carbon Fiber parts that fit the GT3 RS (but not Made in China, so priced accordingly due to quality).

Ok I've been looking at this problem backwards... I have a solution but I need to order new side skirts lol. Will be ordering a new set and see how it goes. Will also see if Suncoast can get the cost of these down for anyone who's interested in a group buy, so if you are let me know.

If any of you pity my foolishness and want to donate to my R&D fund, you're welcome to hehe... Or if anyone wants these, $350 and they're yours. They should fit perfectly for .1 RS and turbo cars despite the notch I made inside the skirt

The problem lies in the notch that I made here. I need to omit this step or make a slimmer notch
