he said GT2, aware the .1 3rs is less aggressive than .2 3rs. As far as I can tell 2rs and new 3rs are the same.

He was asking about installing GT2RS side skirts on his .1 and you asked what the differences are. GT2RS and .2 GT3RS side skirts are the same. So I was pointing out their difference to the .1 side skirts

I was planning to do a proper write up later today. Essentially you need to trim the side skirts as shown and Dremel about 1/8 inch on the first 2 holes towards the rear so you can snap the original fasteners in flushed. When installing you skip holes 3&4 from the rear. I’ll have clearer instructions later but it’s fairly simple.

As far as fitment, the curvature towards the rear of the side skirts doesn’t match up to the body line 100%. It’s one of those things you won’t notice unless you know it’s there. I tried taking closeup shots so you can see but even in pics it’s hard to tell

Sorry - but I think it looks like the middle of car is sagging.

Killer...one of those things that I wouldn’t do...but love it when someone else does. I like the look a lot - bet you it looks better “live”.

Nah GT2RS is more aggressive than 1.1 RS.
Maybe not so much in pics, but real life can see. Looks very cool.

Did you ditch the stickers? I think the side skirts work well with those. Not as well without.

Yes I was thinking along that line. RS wing, RS fenders, RS bumper, RS hood, hell even RS roof... oh wait

Had to take the decals off for paint correction. They'll be back on

I've had a few PMs with regards to part numbers and source. Peter at Suncoast helped me with these

991.504.795.82 Driver Side
991.504.796.82 Passenger Side

About $450 shipped. It took about 2 months for them to come from Germany. With that in mind, if there is enough interest, someone should organize a group buy to save shipping and perhaps get a discount. However, before you guys commit, please understand that the fitment isn't 100%. I've tried taking photos from different angles but it's hard to show on photos being my car is black and the part is also black. Perhaps I posted this a little premature as I'm still thinking of ways to make it fit perfectly... but I'm no expert. My temporary solution for it is putting black electrical tape right on top of the side skirts at the exposed area (between the skirt and the body line) so that it's a clean finish there. You can see the difference between the body line and the line of the side skirt here. At the widest spot, the difference is about 3mm

Looks more aggressive. It also helps that your car is dark colored so the distinction between it and the side skirts is not exaggerated.
You just need a wing now.

Does anyone know if it's possible to paint the RS side skirts? I don't think having them painted is an option for the RS cars in the configurator, unlike the standard GT3.
