Could PDK be swapped into touring?

Why not simply keep the winged GT3? You wanted a MT but now love the PDK, are you saying that you can’t live with the rear wing? I would flip the incoming Touring and enjoy your PDK winged GT3...

I would prefer the under the radar lack of wing but I do love the PDK. White was my first choice for color but silver was second. These are great problems to have! I am very blessed. I have some time to decide but I might just keep the winged car?

I would keep both and let the MT "grow" on you as well. Changing it to PDK would kill the resale unless you plan to keep it forever. I'm sure you could sell either privately though as there's still good demand.

I agree with the OP. I personally would like a PDK touring with Sofa's and please put some insulation back in the cabin as well as give me cooling and heated seats. Basically give me a turbo S chassy that is a two wheel drive and GT3 engine.

PDK to 6MT seems a whole lot easier than 6MT to PDK electronically. I'm curious how that one RS owner who converted his PDK to 6MT feel about his car now that a similar (better) car is available at much less. If you want PDK, HP, and suspension, get a .2 GTS, tune it and upgrade the suspension. Much cheaper and quicker car around town for what you probably will be using it for. Comfy too.

Could someone figure out how to do it?
Probably.
But going on how much the 3RS manual conversion cost, which is almost certainly easier then going the other way around, by the time you’re done paying for it and account for the fact that your car is now basically worthless, it will almost certainly be cheaper to just keep both cars.
I agree that it’s a shame they didn’t offer a PDK touring for those that loved the look but didn’t want to shift. Sadly, they force you to make a choice. If you can only keep one, see if you can drive your Touring before you hand over the winged one so you can decide which you like more.

Just wait for the 992 GT3 Touring with PDK. The 991.2 Touring was successful so Porsche will want to sell more of them next time and offering PDK will help drive the sales numbers.
Or, as mentioned above, remove the wing.

Unbolt the offending wing, use body plugs, or have body shop fill holes and paint
Oh yeah, you saw the pattern of profit based response too!
I project there will be even more, perhaps a Touring Spyder, Targa, Speedster, etc
Rumor has it that Porsche is allowing custom caliper color selection on a 2019 model (believe it was Cayenne, not 100% sure)

Black for base, red for S/Performance iron, Yellow for pccb, Acid Green for Hybrid, White for new coated iron, etc.
Maybe if they charge enough for the colored option it will supersede the value of their “branding” efforts...
