GT3 Compatible Flatbed Truck
#16
Almost any will work with race ramps which are a couple hundred bucks. If its only going to be towing a gt3, I'd get a f550 or similar, going hino/international or f650 would be a waste of money. The beds I prefer for low clearance are the jerrdan xlp. As someone mentioned earlier, the old f550's with the 7.3 diesel motors are good, the newer ford 6.7 are good but all seem to have dpf/exhaust issues at 70-100k miles, but a dpf delete and tune will solve those issues.

I see what you mean. That is helpful, but I would not have called that a beaver tail. I was thinking the angle at the end of the bed like an equipment loader. I have to get out of this thread before I buy a flatbed.

^^^Reverse Beaver Tail above? My McLaren dealer has a full side curtain ramp truck and about the last 6 feet of the deck are hinged so the tapered end can bend up like a reverse Beaver Tail. Loads my Mac with no problems and closes the curtain. Curtain pulls so tight that I thought it was a box truck because that is what it looks like.

Best I can do is this https://www.mclarenboston.com/mclare...on-service.htm
Scroll down and what looks like a box truck is their curtain flatbed. It is the truck on the left. If it is a warranty item the service is free. They know where I live and have been here several times to pick up and drop off. Picked up my Mac, or trades, not always warranty stuff. Beats a crappy loaner and takes little of my time.
