Doesn't the test mule have camouflaged swan neck wing supports (a la RSR and Senna)? This will certainly be the trend in the next generation of supercars/hypercars.

I think those supports are for testing only and not indicative of final form. Swan neck style could be interesting for sure and possibly introduce active aero but personally, I doubt that will happen. If anything, the renders show something closer to the current GT3 RS & GT2 RS format and perhaps Porsche is bringing the 3 designs closer in form for production efficiencies. Who knows?

My guess is that swan neck is a done deal. The RSR is an example of how they can be reasonably slim and elegant (vs the Senna necks which are thick and incorporate active aero pivots).

I suspect that 95% of the aerodynamic decisions are made via CFD simulations and in wind tunnels. On road/track testing are probably just for fine tuning and confirmation.

Thanks for the picture. Definitely interesting... The rear wing looks awkward in the way it sits to far forward on the rear. Agree with some of the other comments, the style is a bit too 'Fast n Furious'. I'm sure it will look much different by the time the car is released, it has to!

Does the RSR? Or are you just referring to the general shape of the RSR wing?

RSR is non active. I believe the uprights on the prototype were boxed in to disguise their final shape and create the illusion that the wing is supported in the traditional manner. The fact that the area extends over the top indicates to me that it is a swan neck, otherwise why would they bother?.... unless it's a double head fake?

I still think there is a chance for turbo GT3.
