I asked for PTS which was given a no but a YES to magnesium wheels (I prefer the Satin Aurum). The car will be heavily optioned. I will be tracking the car 5-10 times year and driven around town on the weekend. I love both colors and really on the fence! Will the green be too much? will the Chalk be too muted?

Options include :
Magnesium wheels in Satin Aurum
Leather Interior Lizard Green with the Green extior or GtSilver int with the Chalk exterior
Full bucket seats
Weissach Package with exposed carbon hood
Door handles in black
Window triangle carbon fiber
Front axle lift
Sport chrono
Extended fuel tank
Ceramic Brakes
Tinted Led headlights
Light design pkg
Auto dimming mirrors
Homelink
Smoking package
Storage net in passenger footwell
Fire extinguisher
Key painted with pouch
Extended leather interior
Steering column leather
Transmission tunnel in leather
Floor mats in leather edging and stitching
Sun visors Alcantara
Extended interior pkg,Door panel in alcantara
Storage compartment with Porsche logo
Seat belt outlets in Alcantara
Illuminated door sills
Bose stereo.
(On the fence with air vents in leather or pained surround but will prob skip)
(Painted dials I decided to skip for visibility issues some have)

Total mrsp $290,156 Canadian or $219,126 American. We getting a deal in Canada right now !

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
The parking lot of my Club on the weekend is full exotics of all types and color. The valet kids say my Lizard attracts way more attention than the others including black 3 rs , chalk 2rs, macs of any color, rainbow Lambos etc.

depends on your tolerance for attention...

Either way you will luv the car.

Cheers

Damn I myself is surprised to see chalk in the lead by this much. I am pretty open to a few colors really but I thought the green and chalk was on the top of my list but now I am second guessing my life.

Colors i like
Chalk (its cool, unique but I see how people can say it looks like primer)
White (quite classic but too boring?maybe with a green interior and gold wheels it will pop!)
Lizard Green (green fatigue?)
Guards Red (I want the gold wheels but would go black wheels with the red)
Gt Silver (too common? it was my initial choice till I heard 3 out of 4 in my local area has same color)

In the middle about
Black ( All blacked out looks good but too stealth)
Miami Blue (I like blues but not sure about this hue)

Colors I do not like
Lava Orange (never been a fan)
Racing Yellow (that much yellow gives me a headache)

I had a chalk GT3, I absolutely loved that color. I now have a Miami Blue RS, and while I was on the fence about it for other models, on the RS it looks amazing. I have the weissach package with gold wheels and it gets attention and compliments everywhere it goes. A very extroverted color for an extroverted car.

Please don't get GT silver, I really don't understand why people get such an understated color for such a crazy looking car. That's a good color for a Turbo, not for a GT3 RS.

Every likes their owns taste (self evident) and will lobby for what they like.
What's important is what you like.
Lizard was all the rage and they comprise a huge chunk of the total build. If that doesn't bother you and you love Lizard get it. Its a cool color.

Personally, I like being different. When everyone is going that way I go this way. That's just me.
I think you should get Lava actually with the WP. That's killer. A had Lava .1 RS and wimped out when i ordered my .2 because Lava didn't get a lot of love here. Why? Not sure. Its a beautiful color. I think its nicer than UV but go figure that wasn't the consensus.

In retrospect I many times think I should have gotten Lava on my .2 with WP and Arum wheels. KiLLER!

I like Chalk with the WP. To me it looks better than without WP since Chalk is a "muted" color and the WP makes that color car "pop" in my eyes. But that's my taste. I like Lizard since its an in your face and bold color so I like it either way i.e. with or without WP since it's a color that "pops" on its own. The Lizard to me is not a classically beautiful color. Its an in your face and bold color.
I like GR without WP more since I feel the GR is such a popping and "classically" beautiful color it is broken up by the WP and takes away from the beautiful "Red" color of the car with its other black accents like the nostril/NACA ducts. But again that's me. Everyone picks what they like. That's why there is a "configurator".

In the end they all look fantastic its just a matter of what you like more.

Be BOLD and different. I vote Lava!

Oops. Missed that.
Chalk with WP or GR w/o WP looking at the color preferences. My vote.

I'd go with something else. But it's your car, so get what you want.
Lizard looks like weeds and grass. I’d go with something else.

Chalk is is going to age far, far better than a skittle color IMO.

The lobby of Porsche Experience Center Atlanta last Thursday - they know what colors look best on their GT3RS...do you agree?
