LA PEC Delivery and PPF
Anyone been able to get paint protective film installed prior to delivery? I am picking up my GT3 Touring in a few weeks at the LA PEC and have a long road trip. Would really like to the the PPF done prior to departure. Thanks.

Someone else had their car flat bedded to Sean at Ultimate Shield before driving it. I can also recommend him, great job and attitude.

With my timing constraints I will need to find someone that can do this before I leave the PEC. Just hood, bumper, mirrors would be great. The car will actually be at the PEC for about 3 weeks before my scheduled delivery.

I didn't get my PPF before I received my Touring, but I can highly recommend Moe at Glistening Perfection!
BTW... the delivery experience at PCLA was amazing! Enjoy!

I don't think any outside installer would be able to do the work at PECLA. Plus they probably will only get the car cleaned a day or two before you take delivery. I've seen they park cars waiting to be delivered outside of the building all the time. We are only 15mins away from PECLA. Let us know if post delivery install will work for you. Will try to accommodate.

Picked mine up on Valentines Day at PECATL and quickly slapped on Xpel Tracwrap to get it home on West Coast to our locals who do such a good job.
This doesn't rush things and allows for Paint correction at home at our leisure before wrapping.
Then again, on the drive the kids at Chik Fil A in Alabama were giving me the business on how ugly it looks, the comments were scorching - LOL, there goes my ego!
PS - The Kimpton IHG at 2 Porsche Lane is a good hotel, just be firm that the Valet may not drive your car. I pulled up, he insisted, I politely rebuttalled, he continued, I extended the customary $20 bill, he would not budge on needing to drive my new car. I pulled forward 50', went inside and we resolved this.

It looks horrid but my ego just turns this into another joke. I met a new gent today at the gas pump - HE ASKED ME WHY MY BUMPER WAS ATTACHED WITH CLEAR SHIPPING TAPE WHEN DUCT TAPE WOULD BE STRONGER!
LOL - it was TracWrap
I made him sit in the car and check it out, we had a great laugh
Dave thought my clear bra was shipping tape - OUCH!

This was my ex daily back in 2014 when I did the European Delivery. People thought the paint cracked like egg shell. Did the job though! 2,000 worry-free miles in Europe was priceless.

LOL - More is better - I agree
My 100ft roll of 18" wide TracWrap is almost gone! I really wanted to try thos product for a vintage rally in Scottsdale this Nov. I have a pretty good idea how it works now!
I know!
You and I will comprise on looks just to be able to put the car on the road, it us worth it

I was told that PPF would need to be done after delivery.
I'm scheduled to pick up at PECLA and I have plans to have the car picked up and delivered
for paint correction/ppf/tint.

I'm picking up my Touring at the PECLA in April, and can someone please write up the usual itinerary like what time in the AM you arrive, then briefing, track, lunch, unveiling of the car, etc. etc.?

I picked my car up from PECLA last Sept and worked with Charles to try and get PPF done there but they can’t / won’t do it so I followed as above and took a bunch of Xpel trackwrap with me and put it on myself and then drove from LA back to the Bay Area. Car got some funny looks at gas station but all good and got PPF done when I got home. 500 plus miles and zero damage.
