The GT3s actually weren't made in Flacht. They were made in Zuffenhausen. The motorsports cars were made in Flacht.

You can say that the GT3s were born in Flacht. (at least that is where the technology originated from that trickled down into the street cars)

My vote is "Born in Flacht". I think it is a cool slogan and a double entendre that relates to the Flat-6. Flacht in German (name of the town west of Stuttgart) = flattening in English.

Of course, we could also say "Born in Weissach" but it doesn't sound as cool.

Where can I score one?

Also I looking for a small Porsche 70 jahre decal, anyone?

They are Born Flacht

I’m also fairly certain it’s made in Flacht as well. Also from the brochure:

The 991.2 GT3 was launched under the „Born in Flacht“ claim...

Race vehicles have been wearing the „Made in Flacht“ sticker at times...

Regardless, you can get both (and other good stuff) from here: https://www.classics-stickers.com/en/

I put one of these stickers on my 997 just for fun after seeing it at the Petersen Museum Porsche show as posted above.

It does not say MADE in Flacht it says BORN in Flacht because that is where Porsche Motorsport is located and that is where the GT3 was developed not made.

Nope. GT3s (street cars - the ones you can buy) are built in Zuffenhausen not Flacht. All that wording in the Brochure just implies that the Cup cars are also built in Zuffenhausen. Its the same assembly line as the 911 and Boxster/Cayman.

The race cars are built in Flacht. 919, RSR etc.

Great marketing spin though. It worked on you.

This is what I copied.
I just thought it was a cool shout out to the motorsports division

You guys are talking about two different things though.
There is the 'Born In Flacht' advertisements and there is the motorsports guys sticking a 'Made In Flacht' sticker on race cars from their village.
I just like the idea of the guys sticking these 'Made In Flacht' stickers in subtle spots on race cars.
The pretzel ad is cool though.
I am going to go get a pretzel.

Seems like both are right. I’m getting “Born in Flacht”. I like it better.
