My Macan GTS has a FLACHT license plate, my 993 RS clone has WEISSACH, and NOT ONE person, Porschephile or owner or neither has ever asked what they mean.
for fun I made a small MADE IN LIEPZIG white decal on the lower section of the Macan left rear taillight but took it off after a while
I have thought about a small white MADE IN FLACHT on the 993 left taillight but havent done it. I am about to cut down a Manthey Racing 991 windshield banner to see if I can fit it on the 993.
Manthey sent me a windscreen decal but it is for a 991 and laying it on my 993 showed me just how big the new cars are. I would not dare cut it down so I’ll hang it up in my office.
where I said above, I was going to cut it down … no no way.
If someone were to make a few I would buy a few 😉
I bought a larger decal from blipshift to put on the rear window
my wife would not let me put one on her new GR86 (with a flat 4) but it would be fun to have one made in Japanese

I live in the small town called „flacht“ actually it’s a village. Back when the Porsche factory was built ist stands on the border of Flacht and our neighbor villages Weissach and Mönsheim. Short after that was the borders rearranged. So that only Weissach and Flacht owns this company. Till this day is the engeering and programming and evolutionist of the car on the side of Weissach. But on our site in Flacht is the Porsche race engendering an testing with our own Teststreifen for the newest Porsche sports models also for Porsches racingcars. That’s why on the Highpowerd and racing models of Porsche you may find that Born or made in Flacht stickers. Bc Flachts and Weissachs aren’t really friends.
