Flipping my delivery mile unloved '18 991.2 GT3 PDK

edit - SOLD
Selling at what is likely a nice little loss when I do the math my 6500 mile very special and very loved GT3. Don't want to think about the $ after ADM tax upgrades etc, but instead cherish the amazing memories made and hope I can find her a good home to go to. Achieved my dream of owning a GT3 after a long wait missing out on the 991.1 run, and finally got impatient enough to take a .2 ADM allocation

If you guys have any friends or acquaintances in the market, would be honored if my car can be considered. When not fretting over CXX/ADM/depreciation/value this subforum especially is a great one, and I still plan on chiming in and enjoying others posts. The Porsche GT stuff is truly amazing

Now time to achieve my dream of Ferrari ownership and could not be more excited honestly, done my research and now let's see how it goes!

Thanks all

Great looking car, GLWS.

GLWS , Sam.

You recently posted about considering an RS. I’m curious what car you are considering in the Ferrari line?

Thanks appreciate it, I was considering grabbing a .2 3RS allocation for a fleeting moment but I realized it was more about trying to get that "new incoming car" feeling than anything specific to the 3RS. For GT stuff I didn't want or need anything more than my GT3. It's a special car to me that will be evident for the next owner

I should be taking delivery of a 488 GTB this summer, grabbed one of the last available allocations before production ends. Did not want to miss that boat and have to fight for an allocation on the incoming 488 facelift/buy a first MY new model if one slid past the VIPs assuming I am even a fan of the new styling. Don't mind and actually might *love* the turbos in the car, I am not one of the NA or bust diehard guys. For linear acceleration, nothing will beat the on/off switch feeling of my Model X P90D theoretically if that's what your into, and I found the sound of the 488 very satisfying to my surprise. Not like a chainsaw through metal like the GT3's 9k redline, or high pitched wail of the 458 Italia's 9k redline but cool with me

Surprised to see you selling so soon. You were one of the biggest GT3 fans/advocates. Wish you a quick sale and good luck! Nice car and price.

Good luck with every Sam. Legitimate member/enthusiast , would not hesitate to buy the car him. Please update us on your future purchase. Maybe you will end up with a .2 RS or GT2 RS ;)

Thanks guys, really appreciate the kind words. Commented up above to Drifting re why I'm selling, worked my tail off to move one of my larger homes that was sitting on the market for longer than I would have liked, and finally closed a couple weeks ago. So looks like my hard work was rewarded and I am a big fan of spending money irrationally, I like to remind myself we are walking and expiring flesh bombs for a morbid "YOLO" perspective. Not going to wait for any excuse to live my life!

I saw your visit speccing your ferrari on instagram. Looks like a really cool experience. I too have been looking at ferrari. Preowned 458 and 488 prices are too good to be true these days. Especially the highly optioned cars. I saw a 488 with a $400k sticker with a thousand miles asking $250k!

Best of luck with the sale and with the 488!

Thanks my friend, I wanted to share the experience with my massive 200 followers as it was a first for me and just so damn cool :roflmao:

Pre owned 458/488 prices are remarkable and there are quite a number of specs available, best of luck with your search and hope it works out for you as well!

Been on the waiting list for a RS allocation for over a year. Tired of my local dealer’s BS and their games, told them take my name off the list, went bought a 458 Speciale last December. What an amazing car.
OP, enjoy your 488 GLWS

GLWS, enjoyed your Euro delivery posts.

I get where you are coming from.
As time marches on I am envious of those that have sampled the wide number of super cars, owned for the experiences and memories. You are doing it right
