That is one pretty drill motor.

My torque wrench and reducer are around $800 with a little effort.

Hytorc lion .7 as seen above is on eBay at $4500 for those that have to have all the cool toys.

New, I would guess 6-8 thousand with maintenance contract.

great find

or... Porsche could go back to five lugs

I've heard $3k for the gun, but who knows... at $3k it's tough to justify for something I do 4-5 times / yr... at $8k my wife leaves me, so I need to consider the cost / benefit
.

Vintage72 02-15-2019 09:37 AM

$6-8k; good lord above

Gofishracing 02-15-2019 09:51 AM

WOW  Good for Eurotech ! Nice Guys. They do nice work... passing this info on to CL guys

Spoke with Hytorc rep.

This is a one off tool they are making for the industry and is not currently for sale.

soon.

They project costs for the impact at around $4000 plus sockets and accessories.

Ill probably have to pass on this one. Maybe one of you guys could show it off the the track.

Similar to the cost of a set and a half of cup type r tires.

Unfortunate. Great tool to compliment proper shop or track support.

Looks like the nut is modified to allow the wrench to torque it down- hard to tell from the video if the main CL body is retained or if that's modified as well. Any modifications cannot impact the safety of the CL nut system, which goes without saying.

Sure, but I think $8k just gets the proceedings started here...... :roflmao:

This thing looks amazing but not sure I'd go $4-5k deep on it. Maybe we can go halves on it Sean

Gofishracing 02-15-2019 11:12 AM

I looks like it goes over existing center lock nut. It seems to exactly match the one I have in hand.

GrantG 02-15-2019 11:13 AM

$4k is a bunch, but it looks like it might actually save time over 5-lugs for a change (or it would without the time and mess from the aluminum paste)...
