My Lichtgrun GT3 and Miami Blue RS
My 2018 GT3 is Manual and my 2019 RS is, of course, PDK.
This is the first time I have owned both a GT3 and GT3 RS. I usually “upgrade” and keep the RS only, but I could not let go of the manual GT3. The transmission makes the car so fun to drive and it is kind of sentimental to me doing euro delivery in it.
I haven’t driven the RS much (about 150 miles), but it is louder and faster than the stock GT3. My GT3 has a CMS bypass which is phenomenal.
I’ll post more pics and impressions in a little bit.

I have only tracked the GT3. Fast car out of the box. Set my best time at MSR Cresson on stock tires with a more aggressive alignment (-3.0 front, - 2.8 rear). Car seen above has Forgelines/Hoosiers. Have only done Cresson, COTA, and Nurburgring with this car. No time to track like we used to back in the “mancation” days with my 997.2 RS.

Niiiiiiiice!
How much faster is the RS in your opinion? Any real difference on the street or is it negligible?

Exterior - GT3 has more clean, refined look. Less aggressive. Feels a little smaller to drive because it is. Black bits, Wing, vents way more aggressive on the RS. Much more imposing. The Miami blue is one of the best colors I have ever ordered. I cannot photograph it. It is bright and teal colored. Looks great on the RS with all the black bits. Saw one at the factory which is why I ordered it. The rear window on the RS has no defrosters and is thinner which lets in more noise...perfect. The GT3 is too quiet for me stock so I added the new CMS bypass. Unbelievable, loud at WOT, absolutely no drone on the highway. I like the way the stock RS titanium exhaust sounds. A little higher and raspier than the GT3 and louder.
Interior - very similar. My RS has blue belts with silver stitching and some blue accent pieces. My GT3 has acid green stitching. The doors pockets of the RS are mesh whereas they are plastic on the GT3. RS of course has the cloth door pulls. RS doesn’t say GT3 RS on the rear carpet where GT3 has embroidery. Both my cars have front lift. The message lifting and lowering the car is different on both cars. GT3 shows full yellow screen whereas RS shows the message in smaller writing. The GT3 lift feels pneumatic whereas the RS feels hydraulic (no proofing sound like GT3). I think the part numbers are the same though.
Driving - this is the most important part and unfortunately I don’t have enough seat time in the RS to make a good review. Plus, my main focus is comparing cars on the track and I have not done so. The RS is louder and faster on street. The PDK shifts are lightning fast and the poof sound during shifts is amazing. Nothing beats the manual transmission of the GT3 though. Put it in the RS and I would have a perfect car. The RS also has a better view out rear due to the higher wing. The roll bar, wing, and smartycam don’t really help visibility either in the GT3. The suspension of the RS is firmer but not as firm as the 997.2 RS.
I am fortunate to own both and will drive them as much as I can. I can give more driving detail when I have more seat time.

I forgot to mention brakes. GT3 are steel since it is my main track car. No complaints.
The RS is PCCB since it is my poseur car and I like yellow on blue. This is the first time I have ordered PCCB on a GT car. I’ve had them before on a Turbo S though. They bite better and have no brake dust. That’s all I can tell so far.
