SOUL Performance - Custom GT3 Exhaust Tips
Hello Everyone,
Since posting our side vs center muffler delete explanation thread, I’ve been receiving a good amount of inquiries for custom exhaust tips to replace the tip assemblies on the factory center muffler. It seemed like a no-brainer for me to get involved, and we happened to have a factory GT3 tip assembly here. We set to task and developed a replacement backing plate that is modular, giving us the ability to accommodate a variety of tip options/lengths for different models and designs, and a great deal of adjustability. . Options: We have 6 different variations of standard tips to choose between based on the following styles and finishes: Style: Straight Cut Single Wall Slash Cut Single Wall Finish: Signature Satin Brushed Satin Black (PVD Coating) Pricing: Brushed/Signature Satin: $445 Satin Black: $595 Customization: For a setup fee of $50, we have the ability to apply custom lettering/logos. If you’d like your username, your initials, a phrase, or some relevant seven word that begins with “P”….we can do that. We can also forgo any lettering on the tips for a more factory look. This can be done immediately for the Brushed/Signature Satin finish with no additional turnaround time. That said, it has to be done before the PVD coating process on the Satin Black tips, which we send out for coating. In that event the turnaround time would be 2-4 weeks. Fitment: 991.1 GT3 and 991.2 GT3 and RS Models Construction: Each backing plate is laser cut from 1/8″ thick T304L stainless steel. Each tip is hand made from .065″ thick, 4″ diameter stainless steel tubing. Mikalor Supra Heavy-Duty W4 Clamps are included to mount the tips to the backing plate. Installation: Swapping out tip assemblies should only take you minutes, it is attached to the center muffler by three 13mm nuts. Continued Development: There is an additional product I’d like to accomplish in the near future. Resonated Turndown Tips: we are working on a set of tip assemblies that incorporates resonators into the backing plate. The end of the resonators will have a clamp to attach turndown tips that can be custom made in whatever length/angle required by the customer, and of course we’ll have some standard options for that. This will be a tip assembly you can bring with you and swap on and off in minutes in the event you need to drop some dBs at various sound restricted tracks. These are the options I felt would fit the majority of the cosmetic goals we have for these cars. That said, I am open to discussing further options and additional customization on a case by case basis. Our PVD coater can also accommodate some unique colors (such as Blue and Gold) if you want to get super unique. We are also closely associated with Jet-Hot should you want to browse the highest quality ceramic coating options as well. Don’t hesitate to ask, I’m happy to chat about it. Take a look at the options we have available below or on our website and let me know your thoughts. As always we appreciate your business and we’re happy to be a part of the community. If you’d like to order a set, forum members do get a discount so don’t hesitate to reach out. I am interested in this, do you offer this complete package? If so how much? The inlet of those tips looks narrow, how wide are they?

Center Muffler Bypass with 4in Slash Cut Tips: $895 Jet Hot Satin Black Ceramic Coating (Center Muffler): $250 PVD Satin Black Coating (Tips): $150 Custom Lettering on Exhaust Tips: $50 For your reference, our tip inlet pipes at their narrowest are 70mm. This is the same if not larger than the factory 991 GT3 tip assemblies, which I'll confirm for you in a day or so once the factory RS tips show up. For your reference, the factory 997 GT3 tip assemblies sitting on my desk neck down to approximately 62mm at the entry of the tips. |
To follow up on the tip piping, here is a 62mm 997 GT3 tip assembly vs our 70mm tip assembly. We use the same 70mm tip pipe diameter on our center muffler bypass.

A few fellows reached out that needed to drop DB at some autocross events for SCCA and we were happy to oblige and develop these resonated turndown tips. They take minutes to install as it's simply three nuts holding on the factory tip assembly. The turndown tips themselves use vband clamps and are quickly and easily loosened/adjusted to face whichever direction you’d like. Videos and DB testing to come as they begin to make their way to our customers that requested we tackle this project.

Thanks for the loan of the RS tip assembly, it was much appreciated : ) I checked those tips quite carefully before they were packaged, but it looks like you have a mark on that one you posted. If that doesn't clean up, let me know I'll send you another
Thanks again |
