Thanks everyone ... I don't care what anyone says, rennlisters are sweeties. 
I'm sure the Aurum wheels aren't to everyone's taste ... once I was offered the ability to do PTS/WP I wanted to do something slightly unique with another element of the car.
The thought was that the rich nature of Aurum would play well against the deep dark green of Brewster ... I wasn't trying to be too outlandish, just picking the oem color of the 3RS wheels for a little extra pop. In a way I wanted to tone down the contrast of the WP carbon stripes on the car itself by picking a dark color and draw the attention to another part of the car. The extra spokes of the mag wheels really do make them stand out compared to the 3RS ones, although just like in my 3RS it will be less so in natural light. The main thing is that wheels are simple to change if I want a more conservative look.
Overall I am really glad I took a chance on them, to my eyes it makes the car distinct but not over the top.
I can't wait to see what it looks like in person ... right now I have only seen what you have seen.
