GT fever
Waited 18 months to get my 991.2 GT3, love the car but now lusting for GT3rs. Why, have no clue. Don’t need it, less likely to suit my needs but still hunting for an allocation. Is this GT fever contracted by being a Rennlist member and getting caught up in the thrill of the chase. Is it elitist egotism to show the rest of the Rennlist crowd that I have the means to secure that coveted GT car at msrp? My GT3 is absolutely wonderful, meets all my wants and desires, looks the part without being over the top, then why am I hunting the rs. Is this GT fever? p.s. No disrespect to those of you who want the most trackable 911 available, those cars are used as intended. |
It is a toy and that is all the car is. If you need the shiniest one than go ahead.
One would need to dig deep in to your childhood to diagnose any underlying issues :) |
NO, you don't need a GT3rs, you need a GT2rs

I suffer from the same affliction. The GT3 is an incredible car (I don't have one) but frankly the 3RS is a step beyond. I'm trying to find an allocation preferably with a small ADM but no luck yet.
In short, the answer to your questions is yes. |
More. We all want more. Go for it. We won’t speak poorly of you! |
go for it
these cars are what you want not what you need .. If you work hard and earn the money, you can spend it any way you want until AOC wins the presidential election and she will take care of your money so you won't have that problem |
As soon as scarcity is entered into any equation - it seems demand goes up instantly

Poor man wanna be rich, rich man wanna be king, and the king ain't satisfied 'til he rules everything.

I agree. I've had the 991.2 GT3, have the 991.2 GT3RS, but it floats your boat, go for the TOYZ 4 DA BIG BOYZ - GT2RS !
Drive safe, GT3RS-Fan1

Go for the 3rs. The 2rs is 😴. Proven to be slower as well around a track by independent reviewers. |
I just traded my GT3 manual for a new 3RS last week. Way more than I expected after owning '15, '16 and '18 GT3's. Very exciting to own and drive and was surprised that it is equally or more compliant for everyday driving. Waited to buy until ADM came down to single digits for a car that someone ordered and walked on.

"Special" feel and exciting presence
ride is better around town--can't explain why--no rear "crashing" I had w/GT3 that others here have mentioned prefer PDK upshift sounds to manual shift sounds and feels faster without running up the rev curve w/manual |
