I have driven a .2 RS and own a .2 GT3.
I do not track so can not give you my experience as to which is better but I am assuming the RS would be faster.
For the street they both feel very similar but I prefer a Manual so that is the better car in my opinion.
IF one thinks the RS feels more Special that is more your mind playing mental games with you. I bought an M3 as my DD and I feel that She also feels very Special.

OP - I have the same issue. Recently got a .2 GT in Miami Blue and I love the spec, color, etc. There’s ZERO reason for me to want anything else. I’m happy with the car, the money I have in it, etc. BUT every day I think “well I could get an RS”. And so far (so far) I’ve resisted the temptation to start looking. I keep telling myself that it will be something like $70K to trade up and that there’s no way I’ll enjoy it that much more. We’ll see how long that works.

I just traded my GT3 manual for a new 3RS last week. Way more than I expected after owning '15, '16 and '18 GT3's. Very exciting to own and drive and was surprised that it is equally or more compliant for everyday driving. Waited to buy until ADM came down to single digits for a car that someone ordered and walked on.

I´m just so happy that I´m not interested in boats and planes. Cars are cheap in comparison. However, the same thing applies. There is always another car that is tempting. Always something new, or old. Hopefully the itch never goes away.

We're all in therapy here in RL. It is a slippery slope and I've been on it now for 10 years. Seems I'm always chasing the next best thing. Bad bad bad. But fun fun fun once the car is in possession all the $$$ fade away.
Had. .2 GT3 The was like meh coming from .1 GT3. Then got sucked into the 'a RS is a RS' thing and traded .2 3 for a .1 RS. That was different and is special. Glad I made that move. Next, .2 RS. Drove the GT2 RS and while and amazing car (fast and sticks like glue) it didn't have the same sound or visceral feel of a naturally aspirated engine. Can't go wrong with the RS. But in the end you decide what is best for you.

Agree the differences on paper are minor. I'm personally drawn to the RS as it offers a slightly rawer experience - which I favor for a weekend toy. Less interior sound insulation, thinner side and rear glass, titanium exhaust, more pronounced intake sound, stiffer suspension, more aggressive looks etc. Also, I prefer PDK. I suspect others share my reasoning. In the end it's all personal preference, but an RS is distinctly unique from a GT3.

I finally got offered a GT3 RS at MSRP today and a good trade in value for my GT3. Wasn't really planning on trying for an RS, but it fell into my lap so I couldn't turn it down. I've never even tried driving an RS before, so it'll be interesting to compare.

Porsche of Arlington has 2 3rs in stock, I don't know what adm is. Last I checked about 4-5 months ago it was 60K.

I looked at them a short time ago but nothing I'd be interested in.
