LWB Tartan Install [PICS]
These just arrived this morning.
Easy to install.
Pretty happy over all with the construction on them. Some of the seams were separating from the velcro in sections (thread coming out) but its ok as they are hidden when installed. If it gets worse its not a drama to stitch it back together a little.
The pattern unfortunately was not 100% centred on the black edges/ Velcro. But i managed to overcome that somewhat by repositioning the foam underneath etc to offset it. But it was a shame to see that, as that could have been easily avoided.
With these linear type patterns its important and noticeable to try your best to get it 100% straight. Took a few goes. But not hard at all.
Id say im 90% happy with the construction & quality of the product.
I will order from them again, but on my next order i will point out the flaws and they can easily be overcome im sure.
But im 100% happy with the pattern selection. My car is Purple. So the purple lines tie well. I have Yellow brakes so the yellow ties in. And the White i chose to lift the interior ambiance a little, and they grey & black obviously matches the rest of the car.
Next step is to paint roll cage yellow. Im tossing up if i should do it silver to match the wheels, but im leaning more towards yellow to match the brakes.
Lemme know what you guys think!

Those look awesome. I'm all about the seat inserts which seem to be having quite a moment on RL lately!

Thank you CORMID
Jimmy- i know what your saying. But its a "fun car" esp in the colour of mine.
I am thinking i want to keep in the theme of that bright fun colour scheme.
Anyone else have thoughts on roll cage colour?

I like the inserts a lot because they are an easy (and reversible) way to dress up the interior of your car. One could easily order a couple different sets to change up the look from time to time.
Well done!
- Chris.
