GT3RS Stitching on Carpeted Tunnel
Hi, I picked up a GT3RS that was ordered with deviated stitching (pebble gray). I noticed that it is missing the GT3RS script stitching on the rear tunnel. Is it eliminated with deviated stitching?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Yes, odd I noticed that too looks like it was removed from the RS. The carpet looks more placed than integrated into the cabin vs the 2016 pictured

The .2 RS removed stitched script and replaced with a “lightweight” center tunnel carpet.

Interesting the GT2RS has the heavier carpet makes no sense ........I say cost cutting

This was part of the campaign to reduce weight in the .2 versus .1. I recall a quote in the launch book I have that a specific amount of weight was saved on the .2 RS with the carpet alone.

They should have gotten rid of all of the padding/insulation....I want to hear the road baby and yet another reason to skip the Bose upgrade. haha

the non-Bose actually sounds good to me when I turn it on. would never buy an upgraded radio is a GT car ......hell my rear view mirror is just standard I just flip the lever when there’s glare. (:

.2RS doesn’t need weight reduction efforts. It’s got power to burn!
