The factory spec for the 991 is 600Nm - May have been less for 997

In my 991 Turbo S I use 540 ft-lbs (around 730Nm), because at 600Nm (around 450 ft-lbs) the front wheels where hammering the little pucks (the 5 nipples on the CL system), something might be related to the extra power, high grip tires (Hoosiers) and the wheels getting turning steering forces and accel/decel. Cured once I got to 540 ft/lbs (shop advice).

On the GT3RS, 450 ft-lbs work happily on Hoosiers. I mark the nut and wheel with a little bit of the grease for the CL mechanism to see if the wheel has rotated on the hub. Cleaned and marked again after each tire swap.

I ran my .1 RS at the factory spec torque settings on the CL's for 1,311 track miles in 2017 w/ no issues. I had the torque regularly checked along with brake fluid change, tires, etc. and they never had backed off or anything. While dealing with them kind of sucks, they seem to work pretty well.

443 ft lbs works perfect - follow manual for process. Very simple with correct torque wrench after you've done it a couple times.
