Default My new Touring

As I posted on another thread, I am a GT4 owner and have been trying to obtain a GT3 allocation forever. This one fell into my lap as my SA at Autobahn called me and gave me the opportunity due to a customer that walked their order - crazy. She's a stripper and I love that about her; I would have order it a little different (LWBS, PDLS, and GR with silver) but I am still very grateful. I saw her in the flesh yesterday, sat in it, fired her up, and made mental plans. PPF is being applied, LED clear markers, and I pick her up sometime next week. Now, I just have to sell a M2 Comp I picked up two months ago!!!!!!!! worth it.

Nice car. A similar story on my part. Picked up a 15 GT3 and 4 weeks later a stripper manual .2 GT3 became available. Took the hit and was happy to get the .2.

Thank you all, I am really speechless. To my 911 of all generations loving eye, it makes me weepy as the most beautiful car ever. Simple, timeless, crazy badass, and wicked capable on road and track. I had really given up all hope. Then a phone call out of the blue. I am sure some people are bailing out of the GT3 speculation market as this model finishes up its run and the wait begins for the new one. Me, I am no car flipper or "investor." This car will be loved, pampered, and DRIVEN.

Great story and sorry to go off topic but is the M2 Comp as good as all the reviews?? I'm seriously interested but haven't driven one yet. What color and did you get manual?

White, black wheels (really a two tone black chrome look), Exec Pkg, DCT, orange stitching. I went DCT on this car because significant other was going to learn in the HPDE beginner class and she is a no go on manuals. We just didn't get quite that far. As for the car, it really is that good. The short wheel base, chasis improvements from the OG M2, and big motor make it a blast - not to mention software/traction control improvements. I like smaller cars and it feels much smaller than an M4 even though they weigh about the same - just drives totally different.

Someone backed out of a stripper - the visual image of that... oh never mind.

Pretty much how I'd build a Touring. I was offered an allocation at 20K over a few weeks ago; just couldn't go for it. Went used instead.

Enjoy it!

Awesome. I think getting sofa seats in these is pretty cool - more of a DD that way.
