I just ordered the valved race pipe. Hopefully I like it!

We would always stand by our customer if there was ever an issue, there is no question about that however offering a 30 day money back guarantee on parts really isn't something that we have ever felt the need to do. I guess we're in a fortunate position where we still can't build our parts fast enough to hold stock for more than a couple of days at a time and with so many highly satisfied customers out there I just don't feel this is a necessary step for us to take.

Of course if you have any specific questions about any of our products I welcome any and all questions, feel free to PM any time

I'm sure you'll love it, i've been running around with this set up for some time now and I feel its a great option for those who want the Race Pipe sound but also the ability to quieten things right down using the factory PSE switch.

I must apologise, the delay is purely a function of how many hours there are in a day. The uptake on our systems has been stunning and so its all hands on deck to get orders out to customers.

Its coming, 100%. Please bare with us

JC,

With the valved race pipe option is there still a transition at 4K rpm like stock or is the valve totally controlled with the oem exhaust button. In other words is on “on” and off “off” or do the valves also open close based on rpm range?

It operates exactly as the OEM valves operate, opening above 4k

A follow up question: Would the silenced race pipes sound louder than the valved race pipes under 4k rpm when valves are closed?

In another JCR thread is a nice table with numbers associated with the various exhaust options to represent sound levels.

Default Spreadsheet

This is the spreadsheet I made -
Just installed the valved side silencer over the last two nights after work - I need to improve my wrenching skills but mere mortals can pull off the install -

Does this mean that the transition from open to closed valves at 4k rpm is worse than stock? Trying to get away from that transition but would like to have my wife ride in the car without stink eyeing me.
