I can attest to the crappy Porsche OEM motor sports battery. Mine failed just randomly and soon became a $4000 paperweight just after its parts warranty expired.

Is it possible to shut down a battery with that remote? Can I ”accidentally” do it to friends car as well if he has similar battery?

Scott, the label says not to use lead-acid battery chargers....what do you recommend as a tender/trickle charger for winters up north?
Also, if the car is in climate controlled winter storage, is the 24 Ah still OK to use?

So it will not be possible to use the remote to shut the battery off, it's function is only to activate the Re-Start reserve. The fobs are keyed to each battery independently so you wouldn't be able to use yours on someone else's battery either.

The 24Ah option is good for track use, but again with the smaller capacity will not last as long by itself compared to the larger sizes. What the aim of this line is to get away from having to rely on remote chargers and at the same time keep your battery protected but if you do need to use a charger this is what we use in house ourselves. CTEK makes some great options as well.

As long as that was the one specifically for the lithium option.

These work for any model, not just gt?

Too experience with high margins imo. Let us know when there is 50% off sale.

Can I use the OEM Porsche charger and set it to Li-ion to charge your battery? I have 3 other cteks but it appears the Porsche one has the li-ion setting

Also how many amp hours is the OEM battery and which one of yours is most comparable to it?

They work with any Automobiles..... We market to the Performance Channel because that is a Market looking for massive weight reduction, but with these particular batteries we are moving toward regular Passengers Cars owners also who can also see the value in the longer lifespan, and built-in Jump Starting features.

I'll be sure to let you know when our batteries are 50% off..... because I know right when that happens Gandalf will fly to me on Shadowfax and tell me I have a BELOW MSRP allocation with on the new 2020 GT3RS.

But you can alway go here below and buy a battery without any built in protections or built-in jump starting for TWICE the price....

Braille batteries are crap, I had one that exposed and burned my Cayman race car. I have 2 anti-gravity batteries and am very happy with them.

I think you're thinking of "Mithril." Not "Minthral."

My Braille has been great.

I think the Anti-Gravity look great and certainly a favorable price point.

When/if my Braille craps out then would try an Anti-Gravity but my Braille has manged 3 Winters in the Midwest and still runs like a charm

Don't trickle charge your Braille battery when it's in the car, it might explode and burn your car....ask me how I know.
