That feel when other lowly Carrera trims are rarer than your GT3.

ADM on the GT2RS's was $150K after the holidays. When I was at the dealership all of the GT2RS's did NOT have Magnesium rims but almost all were WP cars and optioned to the hilt, making me think that they were not customer spec'ed vehicles. They are just jerks but if you have the cash and don't car about service or honesty... I asked if any GT3 Touring cars were available and the SA reply was,"Manual or PDK?" When I asked if they could get the Sirius antenna painted to the PTS color by Porsche NA free of charge on one of their new GT2RS PTS cars, they said,"Why? The color is the same as the rest of the car!" Then I walked around and showed them what I was talking about and they all looked puzzled that I might ask that the antenna be Fashion Gray instead of black. Unfortunately, the stock market is back to early December levels, so there will be plenty of hedge fund managers leasing them through Putnam.

I was there around New Years and there were 8 GT2RS's for sale. ADM was $150K. All were WP and optioned to the hilt but not one had magnesium rims. Also, many were PTS and had that ugly black Sirius antenna. These are not cars that were ordered by clients but bloated cars that a dealership would order. The ADM may be less now but when I was there the stock market had taken a big hit, now that the market is back to early December levels I am sure the hedge fund guys have picked up these cars. I could be wrong but these guys are not my dealer and I would never buy from them because their customer service is literally nonexistent. I guess that is what happens when your clients walk in and buy a car without batting an eye at a $150K ADM and pay with cash. Go to Penske in Fairfileld or Weeks in Danbury.

I was just there and dropping off an MB next door. There were still GT2's everywhere. It was surprising. I feel like they're usually heavy on soccer mom inventory. However they were nice enough to ADM me on the .2 GT3. After two previous 911 purchases. I do get video message birthday greetings though.

Happens with every model switch over.... remember the Gen 2 997 RS's and 4.0 RS's sitting on dealer showrooms.....

There are a lot of 2RS available. Someone needs to figure out a manual swap.

There's a shop in Florida that has it dialed, at least for the 3RS, I think it's about 50k all in for a swap that looks and drives like factory.

I am hoping they do it for a 2RS. Presumably it is different because there is not a manual car of the same generation that has the same engine, but in manual (e.g. 991.1 GT3RS and 911R).
