AMG GT R vs 991.2 GT3
I've seen videos covering the two (Shmee150).. but does anyone have both and can compare the two for daily driver purposes?
I'm looking at a 991.2 GT3 currently with the 18 ways, but the AMG GT R is quite the looker....
The market is finally down in under MSRP range finally.. 2-3k mile GT R's are going for 165k on the market.
Anyone want to be a gent and provide an MMR for the AMG GT R?
That would be lovely, so I know what to go off of when talking to dealers?

I have both as well..manual gt3 is completely different than the Amg gtr. Gtr looks badass and is super wide, prob a bit faster and sounds like a muscle car. GT3 feels like s race car, sounds like a cup car (w bypass), I will give daily fun factor to gt3 bc it’s more engaging..gtr great roadtrip/go on date car etc

I have a GTR and a 911R, not GT3, but radically different street drives from each other. First, and not asked but a GTR is much more fun than a GTS. GTR can be summarized as mean. Vs the 991 the GTR has all that down low torque makes it easier to have sideways fun as slower speeds. Truly a modern muscle car feel, and a huge grin to drive. Sounds fantastic, with low gutteral sounds. 991 feels way more precise and you have to wind it up, but then wow. They are both great cars, but very different characters.
I wouldn't actually say better or worse, just very different. Like two good flavours of ice cream.
The GTR gets way more attention than a GT3 on the street just because there are way less around here. GTR adjustable TC is super fun to play with and makes a huge difference on track.
