You can fit car/booster seats in 2019 GT3 RS CF Bucket Seats BUt....
BIG EDIT:
Thanks to forum members for pointing out that even on the 2019 buckets with the airbags turned off, porsche does not fully support any child seats or booster seats.
That being said, I tested my car seat, which does not use a latch system and it fit okay. I also tested up to 105 lbs in that car seat using weights and the airbag stayed off.
I am not suggesting that anyone use a car seat or booster seat in their porsche buckets because porsche officially says not to.
Just letting you know that the airbag will stay off at least up to 105lbs in my specific 2019 991.2 GT3 RS.
I made a youtube video about this but will be editing the video now that i know about this update.
Thanks

I've read that the Porsche manual states not to put child seats in the bucket seats, is that correct? I specced 18 ways in my GT3 so I could bring one of the kids with me, would be nice to know if it's officially OK to do the same in the bucket seats.

Hey guys,
I've been making youtube videos about my GT3 RS I just bought this month and had a viewer get mad at me because he saw i had a car seat in my car.
He said that Porsche bucket seats do not have the ability to deactivate the air bag and so i risk my child getting badly injured or killed in the event of an accident that caused the airbag to deploy.
I was pretty sure he was incorrect because I had seen the light on inside the cabin saying that the air bag was off but wanted to test this out.
If you are interested in this i did a whole video on it - see below:

The moral of the story is you "can" put a child seat in the bucket seat but Porsche clearly states you should not....and therefore know one really knows if it is safe or not....for me I would always defer to the manual and Porsche R and D.....

Is that only for seats with a latch system since there are obviously no latch connects (whatever they're actually called) on the LWBS? The booster seats should be fine assuming the airbags are off.

There's usually no latch in any front seat, LWBS or not. And Porsche disagrees with you, as mentioned above they specifically say not to put seats in the LWBS.

Sorry for raising this thread from the dead.
The seat in Izzone's picture is this.
Does anyone know whether this version also fits LWBs?
