I can’t say I agree with all GT3 owners wanting to “upgrade” to the RS. I ordered a Touring and have ZERO interest in an RS. Take a guess why...

Agree. As I posted here....https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...r-lots-34.html

The winged GT3 and the GT3 touring markets are completely separate. The winged GT3 are just a slight step down from the GT3 RS, and many buyers get a winged GT3 on their way to an RS or 2RS, but the GT3 Touring is completely different as all are wingless and all are manual and so owning a Touring for several years is the end goal for most Touring buyers and they aren't looking to flip them quickly like many winged .2 GT3 buyers.

There are close to a hundred winged GT3 for sale right now and only 5 touring and the Touring are commanding far higher ADM most around 20-25K, while most of the winged GT3 are approaching MSRP, because the Touring market is almost completely separate from the Winged GT3 market and there is far more supply relative to demand in the winged .2 GT3 market.

Except there was way more demand than supply of the GT3’s and a lot of them sold well over sticker. While most of the regular cars sold at a discount to MSRP and many were dealer speccars that sat on dealer lots for a long time before selling. There was more demand for the GT3 than the regular cars, Porsche just didn’t produce enough to satisfy all demand.

With the GT3, then The Touring, and possibly the speedster it looks like a whole GT product line is developing. Porsche has successfully moved their buyers upscale, but have they saturated the market?

ppl worry too much about buying selling of other ppl
just buy drive be. happy then sell the damn car
it's just a car. not like selling your kids.
well, if someone paid up, my son and daughter are both for sale.
What's the ADM on the kids? I need my cars washed more frequently.

If there were a PDK Touring in addition to the MT the take rate would have been even greater over the winged version.

AGREE.........split would have been much more balanced....... so it all depends on the daily or not daily usage........I also would never have a GT2 or 3RS, no desire.....

Not being sold, asking. There’s a big difference.

That Voodoo 2RS looks mighty tasty, however many there are, and great to see it being used on track.

Agreed, as a Touring owner I wouldn't want a 3RS, no manual, nor a 2RS, I'd be afraid to but too many miles on it.
I consider myself content and I've noticed that since it's parked in my garage I visit Rennlist less often!

Quite likely, as it stands now there are more Tourings than Manual Winged cars.

If you can have a car for 3 years and only lose 20k, its a deal in itself. the fact that 2104, 2105 cars are only 20k less than sticker is crazy. So after the smoke clears, all the gt3's are bought and dealers no longer have new cars, you will see .2 cars stabilize and less for sale.

Thank Cam. They are his tables. Not sure why STG would repost without crediting Cam, given all of the work Cam has done for the RL community.

Please see ryanTT's data supplied in my "Unofficial GT3 Production Numbers" thread in the 991 GT3/GT3RS/911R section.
