Looks like the Grand Venus has been unloaded (based on the decrease in draught) so now I'm just waiting on the port exit status update... I hope mine doesn't get randomly chosen for an 80 mile road test.
Any idea how long it takes to get the cars from Benicia to Norcal dealers?
Waiting on my Cayenne which was on the Grand Venus and have been on constantly checking on ship tracking the last few days. I purchased from a local Bay Area dealer nearby and the SA said they usually get truck deliveries within 4 - 6 days of landing in Benicia.
I wish I could have seen the huge Grand Venus sail under the Golden Gate Bridge but it came in pretty late at night. The more I learn about these RO-RO cargo ships,and the logistics involved, it’s really fascinating.
My SA called me Saturday and said my car is going through PDI at san Diego and should be at the dealership Thursday or Friday! Barring any issues after PDI.

Someone close this thread please. I don’t like the latest updates. Sitting here in Portland waiting makes me bitter. Should have sent it to SF and had Mooty park it in my garage.
My wife commutes into SF and drives by Marin Porsche every day. She said she saw a car trailer in front unloading white wrapped cars this morning - most likely the first batch from the Grand Venus. So some lucky individual(s) should be getting calls shortly!
I haven’t received a call yet from my SA so mine might not be on this first trailer....
