That includes the magnesium wheels and Ti roll bar.
For a US GT3RS, I think it's 7lbs for the sway bars of the top of my head.

The only real weight saving option is PCCB.

I prefer aftermarket ST ceramic rotors, 19" wheels to get the same result for much less money.
And side muffler delete of course. All low hanging fruit.

Saves 13 pounds.
1 pound paint on hood
1 pound paint on roof
11 pounds from carbon fiber sway bar.

30 pounds is if you include mg wheels and ti roll bar

Don't think the unpainted hood saves anything either.

What Porsche US configurator says -

The use of additional lightweight construction achieves a vehicle weight reduction of approximately 13.4 lb (6.1 kg) by comparison with a standard 911 GT3 RS.
  • Exposed carbon fiber roof instead of standard magnesium roof saves approximately 1.1 lb (0.5 kg
  • Steering wheel trim and gearshift paddles in carbon fiber save approximately 0.6 lb (0.3 kg)
  • Anti-roll bars and end links in carbon fiber (front and rear) save approximately 11.7 lb (5.3 kg)
Really comes down to the CF roll bars and end links.

Lightens your wallet by $18k.

In $1 bills (@ 1gram per) that would be about 39.6lbs. PAG IS BEING CONSERVATIVE!

The best and most cost effective way to lose weight is by doing both a lightweight rear exhaust and lightweight battery. That combo can drop over 80 lbs from your car for just a few thousand dollars, second best is PCCB or aftermarket ceramic as Trackcar recommended.

Everything else isn't worth the cost IMO.

Not sure if I should be laughing or crying...maybe both. Actually, I’m laughing...but then I’m in the .1 RS crowd and was never challenged with such a life or death decision, “do I or don’t I check the box, ugh?”
Thanks for the laugh!!!

Some excellent advise here!

Any advise on what exhaust to get? An exhaust with more noise is NOT important to me but if there is one that save alot of weight would be great. Also definitely considering lightweight battery as it seems like an easy retrofit.

Best bang for the buck is to go on a diet, most of us can stand to lose a few pounds. I had a guy at the track tell me he emptied his windshield washer revisor to lighten his BMW, guy weighs about 230, I looked at him a just laughed.

No matter what anyone says WP is an aesthetic package, not a weight savings package. No one has ever taken a stock 3RS and the same car with WP to the track and put down better times in the WP car. Buy it for looks only, cause that's all you're really getting

It’s an appearance package. Period.

Mg wheels are $13000 on top. That’s the real performance adder.
