Introduction

There has been a calling since we first debuted our Titanium Race Pipe to offer a version which is a little less extreme in volume whilst retaining that signature Race Pipe tone and quality of sound.

We’re very pleased to officially launch the JCR Silenced Titanium Race Pipe, knocking off an impressive 9-11dB from the standard race pipe dB meter readings across the RPM range.

The Design

Through extensive testing and development we have perfected a number of key areas in the exhaust systems design to perfectly tune and accentuate the tone and pitch of the JCR Titanium Silenced Race Pipe's sound and performance. The system features 70mm pipe work, routed cleverly to achieve the desired overall length whilst offering an target back pressure level to maintain low down torque yet allow the engine to breath right up to the 9000rpm redline, in certain applications.

The system then merges into another key point, collecting the gasses and creating a scavenging effect whilst targeting unwanted drone frequencies then heading back out into a twin 70mm to the factory style 3-bolt flange allowing customers to retain OEM tips or upgrade for any aftermarket tips which utilise the OEM style 3-bolt flange.

We have manufactured a light weight fixing, utilising the OEM side silencer brackets we support the Titanium Race pipe from both sides to ensure no additional load is applied to the header flange. This also enables us to mount the exhaust with a small rubber mount, isolating any unwanted vibrations from the cabin.

Performance Increase

Every component of the JCR Titanium Exhaust line is guaranteed to improve HP & TQ with to a varying degree dependant on the specific combination of parts. In combination with the OEM headers the JCR Titanium Silenced Race Pipe in testing saw peak gains of 10-15bhp and 10-12ftlbs or torque with little to no low down torque loss over the OEM header back system, performance is on par with the regular (non silenced) Race Pipe

RSR Sound

For anyone who has heard the 2018 GTE 911 RSR in person they would be hard pushed to say that there is a better sounding race car. We feel we have managed to achieve that same glorious tone with the JCR Titanium Silenced Race Pipe, hearing truly is believing in this case.

Light Weight

Due to adding the silencers to the usual Race Pipe design the weight has increased slightly over that of the non silenced version, only a slim increase and still yielding huge weight savings vs OEM exhaust system. Any weight reduction is good news however reducing weight rearward of the 911's rear axle can yield huge improvements in handling balance too.

Very cool....for us track guys, have you thought of doing these products in Stainless Steel since Titanium becomes fragile and can crack with heat and cool cycles.

GT3 KSA 01-21-2019 04:38 PM

Free shipping worldwide or just in the UK?

So the difference between this and the race pipe is PSE button works in this application, whereas it does not in the race pipe application, correct?

It’s really not on the radar at the moment to produce a SS version, heavy and the sound quality would be affected adversely.

Im not too sure where this sudden concern is coming from in regards to our exhausts cracking, I’ve seen it mentioned on a few threads now. I think its important to stress that this has never happened and I highly doubt it ever will. The grade of material we use and the way in which it’s manufactured is not your usual ‘titanium exhaust’ that you might find elsewhere.

I would really not worry about this or see it as a consideration when looking at our Titanium exhaust products :)

Worldwide free shipping

The silenced race pipe does not include valves so the PSE button is still redundant as per the normal race pipe. The silenced version features in line silencers to reduce exhaust volume at all times vs regular (non silenced) race pipe

Got it, the one on my radar would be the valved race pipe

Jimmy-D 01-21-2019 06:46 PM

Please post some sound clips

You also have Titanium Tips?

It's made from insanium, no need to fret...

bigskyGT3 01-22-2019 12:30 AM

That is a ridiculous sound considering that car has the OEM headers/ cats.

SocalTouring 01-22-2019 03:39 AM

Would love to see a vid of crusing speed and throttle, preferably at around 2K-4K rpm

I think that is the video of the race pipe excluding any silencers.

bigskyGT3 01-22-2019 09:09 AM

Correct. Non silenced race pipe with stock headers and cats.
