I believe IMSA and the track officials are different entities. IMSA wouldn't have had any input into a decision to red-flag a race.

Pretty obvious, in my view.
Same; I didn't go outside much on Sunday. I recommend Sebring attendance as well.
Could have been. Earl and Larry were very confident and came back from an early setback that put them several laps down; felt like they had a winning car in the dry.
No, it's the race director's decision; his name is Beaux Barfield https://twitter.com/beauxbarfield?lang=en

One item outside of pictures which maybe wasn't well reported was how truly atrocious the rain was. They shouldn't have been drivingZ... cars were sliding everywhere. We were on radio listening to driver of a team saying he was really worried and said he shouldn't be out there.. shortly after that slammed into another car which was sliding and both were out of the race with only a few hours to go. What a waste of effort, money, and team morale... it seems like officials were more interested in the show than anything else.
It was carnage for no good reason except ratings. That's not good officiating

Coldest, most miserable 24 ever - and I've been going since '83.
I actually left around 7:30 Saturday night, and didn't go back Sunday. Someone said it was 54* but I swear it was sub-40 in the grand stands.
I'm there usually until midnight or later then back in Sunday morning. Same routine each year.
Sunday I woke up around 5 am and heard about the weather, so i didn't rush to get out. Around 8 am I decided to just leave. I did listen to IMSA radio for 4 hours all the way back home.
I would have gone back, but I wasn't looking forward to that cross country hike outside the track from the parking to get into the grandstands. You used to be able to park closer on Sunday morning, but that's all full of the corporate crap now. And there are plenty of spaces. It's a real shame.

Was able to get the 3RS on the track today before heading home.
The Porsche was getting allot of love despite the event being sponsored by the Ferrari Club.

A little OT, but ever since Jacky Ickx abruptly ended the 84 Monaco GP, when Ayrton Senna, a rookie still, with his Toleman, was getting closer and closer to Alan Prost ( passes him I believe) so that his buddy, Prost, could win the GP, lost faith in neutral officiating under rain...
