HAMMER TIME-SCOTTSDALE 2019

I had a Turbo S Exclusive (Agate) and sold it.
It is actually a bit more special than it looks - has more power, different exhaust, magnesium roof from RS. I had carbon wheels.
The finish is another level to other 911s.
in the long run, it probably will be seen as a ‘premium’ 991. Reason I sold was it didn’t feel any different to drive than a Turbo S.
I drove 1000 miles, and really tried to bond with it, but couldn’t.

Sport Classic price is way over the top, somebody got carried away at an auction. Nice car, but it’s a 997.2 Exclusive effort just like the Speester. Makes the R a steal.

In reality, not only because of the extra 27BHP, exclusive paint, exclusive rims, and cool carbon fiber bits (roof, fenders) both inside and out, it is actually rarer than the 918 Spyder (918 copies worldwide) and 911R (991 copies worldwide). Only 500 produced worldwide. about (120 stateside). So anyone looking for exclusivity, all wheel-drive, and Porsche reliability and dependability, this is the car to own which is not that expensive in its own right.
Just don't get it wet and dirty so it doesn't devalue.

Older Video but Bullet Proof Turbo S

Well, yes and no. The Sport Classic wasn't made available in the U.S., and that’s a special kind of exclusivity the Speedster can’t claim. I hope the buyer knows the car hasn’t been carb’d so licensing and driving it could be a challenge. This was the last and best of the entire 997 series IMO (excluding the GT3s).

Amazing 2019 FORD GT Heritage Edition went for US$2.5M (VIN001). Now that's a collectible along with other classic and newer Porsches.

Yes indeed. If you're a collector/investor, not great news. But I buy my cars to drive and I think it's great to see everyone getting the cars they want instead of fighting artificial scarcity.

Race Car
Only 113 Turbo S Exclusive cars in the U.S. guys...that could be why it went so high.
